The Engineer

Hi, I'm Chris Parkin

I'm a lifelong Woolacombe resident who took the City & Guilds 2377 PAT Testing qualification in early 2019 — initially to look after three holiday homes I help maintain.

I also hold an HND in Sound Engineering & Multimedia Integration, an electronics-based diploma that gives me a solid technical foundation for this work.

I keep the 4th Edition of the IET Code of Practice for In-Service Inspection & Testing of Electrical Equipment to hand at all times and can advise on recommended test frequencies for your specific equipment and environment.
